House of Local Products of the Verdon Gorges

Located in a restored former sheepfold at the entrance of Castellane, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, this showcase highlights food, craft, and cultural products that reflect the richness and authenticity of the Verdon region.

Open since June 2021, the House of Local Products of the Verdon Gorges is dedicated to preserving and developing local activities — crafts and agriculture — while encouraging the emergence of new projects. It meets the expectations of both residents and visitors by offering high-quality local products through short supply chains.
More than 70 passionate and committed farmers, artisans, and artists welcome you there. Coming from the municipalities within the Alpes Provence Verdon Community of Communes, the Artuby canton in the Var region, and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence as guest contributors, they embody the richness and diversity of this territory.
This project is the result of a collaboration between the members’ association, the Chambers of Agriculture of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Var, as well as the Regional Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (04 delegation). It serves as a major economic driver for the region, strengthening its attractiveness and vitality.
Its development, carried out by the Alpes Provence Verdon Community of Communes, was partially funded by the Espace Valléen program as part of the A3V Country tourism strategy.
